70' Power Catamaran 1993 - Awesome 1 is the first of eight power catamarans, originally designed as a stable fishing platform to cruise from New Zealand to Tahiti without fuel stops. Thus, she has the unique ability to cover great distances efficiently and at comfortable speeds. Excellent sight lines give her ease of docking and maneuvering in very tight quarters thanks to 360 degree unobstructed visibility from the bridge deck.

Modern Divinycell-cored hulls offer light, stable construction and Kevlar sheathing lends strength and soundness to her design.

Awesome 1, having one privileged owner through eight years, has afforded its USCG Captain the means to maintain her in pristine cosmetic and mechanical conditions. Awesome 1 has never been chartered.
